About Adam Lockwood

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments you'll ever make, and my goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence to make that decision with complete peace of mind.
I'm Adam Lockwood, owner and lead inspector of Lockwood Home Inspections. My journey into home inspection began long before I became a certified inspector. With years of hands-on experience in custom home construction, timber framing, renovation, and project management, I've developed a deep understanding of how homes are built, and more importantly, how they age, perform, and sometimes fail.
I graduated at the top of my class from Carson Dunlop Home Inspection Training and continue to invest in advanced education and the latest inspection technology. Every inspection includes thermal imaging, moisture meter readings, and drone roof inspections (where conditions permit) to help identify concerns that may not be visible from the ground. I also offer radon testing, perimeter drainage camera inspections, and annual home maintenance inspections to help homeowners protect their investment long after the purchase.
What truly sets me apart isn't just my technical knowledge. It's the way I care for my clients. I believe every buyer deserves an inspection that is thorough, honest, and easy to understand. I take the time to explain my findings in plain language, answer every question, and provide practical maintenance advice that helps homeowners feel confident and informed.
